Here's the scoop: in our shops, gelato is served at -11°C — that's the sweet spot for smooth, creamy scoops. But when we sell tubs, they're kept at -18°C in frozen condition at dark stores near you. Sometimes, they've been frozen for longer periods too.

So even though it's the same gelato, your experience of it changes. Think of it like pizza — fresh out of a wood-fired oven vs. straight from the fridge the next day. Still delicious, just not quite the same moment.

But here's the upside: this deep freeze gives our tubs a longer shelf life. So you can stock them in your freezer and scoop whenever the craving strikes.
